I love beautifully crafted jewellery and have been surrounded by it ever since I can remember. I also consult to small and medium businesses and own a small online business.
Since 1995 I have worked in the corporate world with many talented artists and designers who have always inspired me with their creativity and enthusiasm. My corporate experience took me on a journey that showed me so many fabulous things and allowed me to meet so many amazing people.
In my role as a consultant I have been fortunate enough to connect with so many accomplished and resourceful business owners. They have amazed and inspired me.
Each post is a cumulation of these events.
It is my pleasure to build an online collection of jewellery from Australian and global designers who create truly beautiful, well crafted pieces across a wide spectrum of styles and prices. For me, each piece is inspirational, aspirational but also accessible.
Celebrity Style – Dame Helen Mirren
My favourite mix – completely luxurious jewellery and a great movie.
Here is Oscar-winner actress Dame Helen Mirren wearing Chopard diamond and ruby earrings and necklace at the Premiere of her new movie “The Debt”, in London.
Celebrity Style – Olivia Palermo
I love this Olivia Palermo look. It is an unexpected combination of a floral print dress with a detachable floral vintage rhinestone brooch on brass mesh chain.
The floral rhinestone in this one-of-a-kind LuLu frost piece is a fabulous extension of the floral print in the dress.
Be-Jewelled
Be-jewelled this Summer with some of Australia’s most fabulous creations from Lydia Jewels.
From Lydia’s Sunset Boulevard Collection are these shimmering necklaces…
Celebrity Style – Eva Herzigova
This would have to be one of the top super glam red carpet looks.
Eva Herzigova wears these Chopard Red Carpet High Jewellery Collection Emerald and Diamond Earrings and Emerald and Diamond Ring with complete confidence and style.
This is simply the perfect overall look now we are heading into perfect Spring evenings.

Celebrity Style – Emma Watson
Style icon Emma Watson has been spotted in some stunning pieces from Astley Clarke of London.
Would you like to replicate her look with some gorgeous pieces that will become favourites in your jewellery collection?
Birthstone Bonanza – Part 12 December
Turquoise is a gemstone with a unique opaque blue-green hue. It is valuable in finer grades and is your birthstone if you were born in December.
From the talented Texan jewellery designer Elizabeth Showers comes this Simone Stacking Ring with striking turquoise and diamond pave.
Birthstone Bonanza – Part 11 November
One of my dearest friends celebrates her birthday in November. So this post is for my beautiful friend Emma who can wear either Citrine or Topaz as her birthstone.
These deep earthy yellow Citrine Earrings from Oye Modern are full of vibrancy and life.
Birthstone Bonanza – Part 10 October
Opal is the birthstone for September. Spiritually, Opals represent protection, faithfulness and loyalty, which make them a great stone to wear on your wedding day.
This striking Opal piece is designed by talented Gold Coast jewellery designers Andrew and Libby Want, and is definitely worth a closer look.
Birthstone Bonanza – Part 9 September
The word Sapphire comes from the Greek word, sappheiros, and means blue stone.
Sapphires are best known for their brilliant blue colour, though trace amounts of other elements in this stone can create pink, purple, and even yellow, orange, or green colours. Sapphires in some instances, are colourless.
